Born & operating in Chesterfield, 42 year old professional Make-Up Artist Amanda Johnson works in & around the surrounding area, delivering high level cosmetic expertise for Photographic Shoots, Magazines, Calendars, Fashion Shows, Proms, Hen Nights, Weddings & Special Occasions.
Trained in Art Deco and Benefit Cosmetics, Amanda is also Guild approved in Make-Up and fully accredited by Clinique. Meticulous attention to detail & professional excellence have lead to her appearance on C4’s TV programme - Embarrassing Bodies, providing expertise as a Make-Up Artist and Skin Camouflage Practitioner.
Parallel to the day to day business, Amanda’'s passion for skincare, well being and confidence, is echoed in her voluntary demonstrations & presentations for several charities, organisations & agencies.

Bridal Services
Your Wedding Day, the most important day of your life, the day where you are the centre of attention, where memories are captured, as you are photographed relentlessly by professionals, family and friends.
Your happiness and confidence on the day is paramount. Without changing your character or imposing a look that simply isn'’t you, I will ensure your Make-Up will look great and you will feel special.
A pre Wedding evaluation is conducted. This allows "product to skin tone" matching in advance. This is to ensure you are 100% happy with every detail prior to your Wedding Day.
After the Make-Up has been applied, you will be provided with enough lipstick and powder for touch ups throughout your day.
Proms & Special Occasions
Of course, you want to look your best for your Prom, Hen Night, Wedding Anniversary, Birthday, Work's Outing or simply your Special Day.

Skin Camouflage
My Make-Up skills, coupled with my Diploma in Para-Medical Skin Camouflage & previous experience as a Person-Centred Counsellor, are extremely helpful in the sensitive treatment of skin conditions.
Camouflage products are used to conceal non-infectious skin conditions, which include Birth Marks, Scarring, Tattoos, Thread Veins, Varicose Veins & Moles etc.
I am particularly proud to be a Make-Up Artist & Skin Camouflage Expert for C4's TV programme - Embarrassing Bodies, appearing in the series through GP referral, to provide & teach effective treatments.

1. Good Make-Up is not cheap Make-Up. Cheap Make-Up is not good Make-Up.
2. Minimal Make-Up, Maximum Look. Less really is more. Your Make-Up shouldn't feel or look restrictive or heavy.
3. Never compromise on your skincare.
4. If at all possible, have a trial, avoid any worry, and enjoy peace of mind.
5. Keep your hair and skin healthy, avoid last minute drastic changes to your appearance.
6. Use powder on the day, minimise shine for optimum photography.
7. Share your ideas, wishes, themes and colours with us. We endeavour to work to your dreams and wishes.
8. If you are going to be tanned on the day, be tanned on the trial. Skin tone and matching are vital for that great look.
9. Don't leave eyebrows and nails until the day. These can be done in advance, allowing skin relaxation, as well as time savings.
10. Smile - Who doesn't look beautiful when they're happy and smiling!
